wife from the other is a riotous challenge when two nosy detectives
start snooping. John and friend Stanley struggle to avoid suspicion
(not to mention arrest) in this roaring crowd pleaser! Plenty

The Lion in Winter
by James Goldman
November

11, 12, & 13
17, 18, &19
The
epitome of verbal craftsmanship, the dialogue in The Lion In Winter
is superb, clever, laced with humor, layered with subtley and sharp
as a knife. The characters are multifaceted gems, reflecting their
motives from scene to scene. Experience the rivalries, hostilities,
emotional manipulation bargaining, maneuvering, and petty bickering
within a royal family. Eight hundred years old, this drama still
has, alas, a contemporary ring. This is a evening worth savoring.
